I put an item on hold, where do I pick it up?
Answer:
You can find out where your reserved items are being held by looking for the "Pick up Location" section of your notification email. Items will either be held at the Checkout desk ("Library") or in a locker at our Reserves Locker.
If your item is being held at the Checkout Desk, you'll want to come inside and let someone know at the Checkout Desk that you have an item on reserve. Don't forget to bring your library card!
If your item is being held in a locker, you will visit the Reserves Locker just outside the front door. Tap on "Checkout," scan your library card, accept your reserves, retrieve your items from the locker that opens, shut the locker, and tap "Finish" on the screen.
Did you know you can authorize someone to pick up your holds on your behalf? Stop by the Checkout Desk or Library Card window and ask for a form to designate a pickup person. Circulation staff will provide you with more info if needed.
Remember that you will receive an email or text notification when an item is ready to be picked up, but if it has been a while since you placed the hold you may give us a call or start a chat with a Librarian to find out the status of your hold.
