How do I put a book on hold?
Answer:
You can put an item on hold in the following ways:
- Start a chat with a librarian, and a staff member can put the item on hold for you. Make sure you provide your full name and/or library card number if you have it on hand. Staff may ask you to verify additional information to make sure we have the right account.
- Log into your account online or in the Librista app. When you search for an item, you'll select the option to "Reserve." Make sure you select the pickup location! You can choose "Library" to pick the items up inside at the Checkout Desk, or choose "Reserves Locker" to utilize our 24/7 access Reserves Locker just outside our main entrance.
- Give us a call at 479-621-1152 and a staff member can assist you over the phone. Make sure you provide your full name and/or library card number if you have it on hand. Staff may ask you to verify additional information to make sure we have the right account.
You will receive an email, text, or phone call when the item is ready to be picked up depending on your contact preferences. Your notification email will provide you with the pickup location ("Library" or "Reserves Locker").
