Do you close for inclement weather?

Answer:

Updates regarding the Memorial Day Weekend 2024 tornados and severe weather in Northwest Arkansas.

The Library is in the process of repairing damage to the building from the Memorial Day weekend storms. The majority of the building remains closed to the public, but we are still here for you! The front lobby of the library is open during regular operating hours and we are offering limited services - including card services, printing and copying, holds pickup, the seed library, craft packet pickup, and a few carts of materials for you to browse. Programs and events are being held at the library in the Friends of RPL Community Room; check our Events Calendar for more information on programming.

The City of Rogers expects the library repairs to be completed by the 4th quarter of 2025. The most up-to-date information regarding repairs can be found at the city's new webpage dedicated to the city facilities that were damaged: https://www.rogersar.gov/1546/Tornado-Damaged-City-Facilities-Update

Announcements about our reopening or alternative services will always be made through our social media channels, website, and support hub.

We may close for storms or other weather events if they are severe, such as winter storms with a large amount of snowfall, but we may not know if we will be closed ahead of the storm's arrival. We will always update you on unexpected closures via our website and social media pages. Please check these pages for the most recent updates!
