Can I renew my items online?

Answer:

Yes, but remember that you may only renew books, audiobooks, magazines, and music CDs. You can also only renew your items online if they have not passed the due date. If you need to renew an item that is already overdue, you can start a chat with a librarian or give us a call at 479-621-1152 and a staff member would be happy to help.

To renew items on your own, you have two ways: online through our website, or through the Librista app on your mobile device. 

To renew items online, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to rogersplar.booksys.net/opac/rpl/.
  2. Click the icon of the person in the upper right corner.
  3. Log into your account. Your username is your library card number with no spaces. Your PIN is the 4-digit number you gave to staff when you signed up for your card.
  4. Once logged in, your items will be separated by Overdue, Due Soon, Items Out, Ready for Pickup, and Reserved. Click the "Renew" button under the items you want to renew.

To renew items in the Librista app, first make sure you download the app from your app store. Then, follow the instructions below:

  1. Open the Librista app, and click the three dots in the upper right corner to sign in. Remember that your username is your library card number, and your password is your PIN. If you have previously signed in, you should see your initials in a colored circle in the top right corner. 
  2. To view your items, tap the three bars in the upper left corner, then tap "Account."
  3. You can either choose to renew all books in each section (i.e. Due Soon or Items Out), or you can tap each individual book and tap the button that says "Renew."
