Can I scan documents at the library?

Answer:

Yes! Our printers don't just print, but can make photocopies and have scanners so you can make digital copies.

Currently, our scan-to-email function is not available so you won't be able to scan directly to an email address. However, we can still scan to a USB drive. You may use your own USB drive, or we have some available for use at the Information Desk. Ask the staff at the Information Desk for assistance, and they can get you a drive and run you through the steps.

Staff can email you the document at the Information Desk using the library's email address, or you may take the USB drive to one of our public computers and email it to the intended recipient yourself. Please return USB drives to the Information Desk when finished so others may also use them (all documents will be permanently deleted from the USB drive upon return).

Please note: scanning is not the same as faxing. Please double check which method you need to use to send your documents. If you need to fax your documents, we do not have a fax machine. Ask the staff at the Information Desk for a list of local businesses that offer faxing services by starting a chat, giving us a call, or stopping by the Information Desk.
