How do I use the RPL Events calendar?

Answer:

When you first visit the RPL Events Calendar, you'll see all events for all audiences in card view - that means each event has its own card that you can click on to learn more about the event. A card looks like this:

You can also view the calendar in a number of other ways, including in a list format, a monthly grid format, or in a weekly grid format. 

Use the search and filter functions on the left side of the screen as seen below to narrow your results. You can select particular dates, search an event by name, filter by category (we have categories for children's ages, events in Spanish, and events for all audiences; TIP! use the "Library-wide" filter to see our upcoming closures), filter by audience (Children, Teens, or Adults), and filter by in-person or online events. 

Click on the event title in any format to view the event page, where you can read the full description, see the event organizer, and register for the event (if available). The event page for the card above looks like this:
