Does the library need volunteers?
Answer:
We love our volunteers! Year-round, we have volunteer opportunities in our various departments, including volunteer opportunities during our summer reading programs.
If you'd like to apply to be a volunteer, you'll want to sign up using our volunteer application. Please read all volunteer position information, as each department may have different age restrictions for their volunteers. If you don't see a specific volunteer position listed, go ahead and fill out an application anyway - we may find opportunities you are interested in later on!
Volunteers under the age of 18 will need to visit the Information Desk to get a waiver form to be signed by the volunteer and their parent or legal guardian. These forms can be returned to the Information Desk once they have been signed.
Please note: we do not offer volunteer positions for the purpose of court-ordered community service.
