Can I donate items to the library?

Answer:

Yes! You can make a few different types of donations.

Memorial Donations:

Contributions may be made in memory, honor, or celebration of a loved one, or to commemorate a special occasion. Contributors may elect to have a bookplate inserted in a new book being added to the Library’s collection. You may give a memorial gift by printing and filling out our gift & memorial form and mailing it to the address on the form along with your contribution to the Library.

Also, for information about designating Rogers Public Library as a recipient of donations in lieu of gifts or flowers, please call (479) 621-1152 or email us at rplaskalibrarian@rogersar.gov.

Monetary Donations:

Make a monetary gift to the Rogers Library Foundation using the link listed below.  Your contribution to the Library Foundation is tax-deductible!

Many companies match charitable contributions made by their employees and, in many cases, from employees’ spouses or retirees as well. A corporate matching gift increases the value of your contribution at no additional cost to you. Please check with your Human Resources Department for eligibility information and information on how to initiate a matching gift.

Book, Audiobook, DVD, CD, and Video Game Donations:

You can bring items in good condition to the library to be donated. Like-new materials may be used in the Library’s collection, or they may be sold in the Friendly Bookstore where proceeds benefit the Library.  You may also take your donations directly to the Friendly Bookstore for them to sell.
