What is LinkedIn Learning?

Answer:

LinkedIn Learning, previously known as Lynda.com, is an educational site with video courses to help you develop your business, creative, and technology skills. Each course is taught by an industry professional who is excited to share their knowledge with you.

With LinkedIn Learning, you can pick up new skills on your schedule. You’ll find courses that teach hard skills, like business strategy, programming, and sales skills; as well as courses that teach soft skills like communication, time management, collaboration, and more. Plus, you’ll find project files and quizzes to help you take your knowledge to the next level. At the end of each course, you’ll also earn a certificate to show employers what you’ve learned.

To use LinkedIn Learning, you can visit this link or use the mobile app that is available on both Apple and Android devices. You will be asked to enter your library card number and your PIN. Once logged in, you can search for courses, save them to your library, and track your learning progress. You can also set weekly learning goals in the form of 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes per week.

If you have any questions about using LinkedIn Learning or what it offers, start a chat with a librarian or give us a call at 479-621-1152 and staff would be happy to help!
